The S‑Model raises the respective values to 430 kW (585 hp) and 760 Newton-metres. The difference in output and torque comes courtesy of a higher maximum charge pressure.

The power transmission, too, is made to measure. Depending on the mode selected for the variable dynamic handling control system DYNAMIC SELECT, the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC impresses with its great agility and superior responsiveness. The transmission has a wide-ranging potential.
