BMW X3 xDrive20d SE diesel 140 kW (190 hp) 2015

BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder diesel engine.
Innovative BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, common rail direct injection and aluminium lightweight construction combine to impressive effect in the redeveloped four-cylinder diesel engine powering the BMW X3. The result is remarkable performance with a further improvement in fuel economy and emissions. Particularly economical figures come from the entry model among the diesels, the BMW X3 sDrive18d. It achieves fuel consumption figures of 55.4 to 60.1* mpg (with 8-speed Steptronic transmission 54.3 to 58.8* mpg) and CO2 emissions of 134 to 124* g/km (with eight-speed Steptronic transmission 136 to 126* g/km).

The vehicle is far more generous in respect to its driving performance, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph within 9.5 seconds (with eight-speed Steptronic transmission 9.8 seconds) and has a top speed of 121 mph. In contrast, the slightly larger engine of the BMW X3 xDrive20d achieves a maximum speed of 130 mph, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 8.1 seconds.

Again, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions remain low, with figures of 50.4 to 54.3 mpg (with eight-speed Steptronic transmission 52.3 to 56.5* mpg) and 146 to 136 g/km (with eight-speed Steptronic transmission 141 to 131* g/km). Thanks to BMW BluePerformance, the four-cylinder diesel engine also complies with the EU6 emissions standard. All figures were determined in accordance with the EU test cycle and depend on the selected tyre format. * The lowest figure was achieved with the special equipment SA 2AM 17-inch light alloy wheels Streamline 306, which are subject to an additional charge.
