It achieves fuel consumption figures of 55.4 to 60.1* mpg (with 8-speed Steptronic transmission 54.3 to 58.8* mpg) and CO2 emissions of 134 to 124* g/km (with eight-speed Steptronic transmission 136 to 126* g/km).
The vehicle is far more generous in respect to its driving performance, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph within 9.5 seconds (with eight-speed Steptronic transmission 9.8 seconds) and has a top speed of 121 mph. In contrast, the slightly larger engine of the BMW X3 xDrive20d achieves a maximum speed of 130 mph, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 8.1 seconds.
Again, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions remain low, with figures of 50.4 to 54.3 mpg (with eight-speed Steptronic transmission 52.3 to 56.5* mpg) and 146 to 136 g/km (with eight-speed Steptronic transmission 141 to 131* g/km). Thanks to BMW BluePerformance, the four-cylinder diesel engine also complies with the EU6 emissions standard.
