BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder diesel engines.

BMW TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder diesel engines boast agile dynamics with low fuel consumption and emission figures. This is enabled by BMW EfficientDynamics technologies working in tandem with common rail direct injection, multistage turbocharging and variable turbine geometry. The engine in the BMW X3 xDrive35d impresses with 313 hp of power and 630 Nm of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 5.3 seconds. In terms of fuel consumption, the engine achieves 47.0 mpg.

In the BMW X3 xDrive30d, the engine generates an output of 258 hp and supplies the maximum torque of 560 Nm at just 1,500 rpm. When accelerating from 0 to 62 mph, this BMW X3 needs just 5.9 seconds, while fuel consumption remains at a modest 46.3 to 49.5* mpg and CO2 emissions are only 159 to 149* g/km. Thanks to BMW BluePerformance, both engines comply with the EU6 emissions standard. All figures were determined in accordance with the EU test cycle and depend on the selected tyre format. * The lowest figure was achieved with the special equipment SA 2AM 17-inch light alloy wheels Streamline 306, which are subject to an additional charge.
