Chinese man is pictured driving giant stuffed bear attached to Lamborghini Gallardo

-The man, who was wearing a face mask to stop breathing in fumes, told police the giant bear was for his girlfriend

A young man who bought an enormous stuffed animal for his girlfriend and strapped it to the top of his luxury supercar has been fined for his romantic gesture.
Traffic police said the unnamed man's actions endangered traffic, as the giant toy bear could have fallen off at any minute, especially since it was strapped to the top of a speedy Lamborghini Gallardo.
Celebrity traffic officer Tan Qiao, who hosts a daily programme about traffic in Chengdu - capital of south-west China's Sichuan Province - came across the large stuffed animal which was being hauled on top of the expensive supercar.

Unsurprisingly, the vehicle and its furry passenger had been causing quite a lot of commotion amongst all who saw it in Chengdu.
The young man told police that he bought the bear for his girlfriend as a 'special gift' and that he was forced to strap it to the top of the car when the toy would not fit inside the vehicle.

Despite showing sympathy for the driver, Officer Tan still fined him for breaking traffic rules, and also warned him not to try the stunt again.
It is not against the law to carry a toy, Tan noted, but when a huge toy is placed on top of a driving car, it is against the law.
The man was forced to call his friends for help but none of their car were suitable either, and in the end he temporarily abandoned his £130,000 Lamborghini and took a taxi instead.
