The current generation VW Tiguan is nearing the end of its lifecycle, with a new model expected to debut in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show before arriving in global markets next year.
Until then, VW refreshes its smallest SUV with a new generation of engines as well as new radio and navigation systems.

From now on, the Tiguan’s 2.0-liter diesel engines get more power. The output of the 140PS (138hp) unit has been increased to 150PS (148hp), while the 177PS (174hp) version has been boosted to 184PS (181hp).
At the same time, CO2 emissions have been reduced by up to 17 g/km, with all the engines from the Tiguan lineup now complying with the EU6 emissions standard.
