Audi has released new photos and a video of the stunning TT Clubsport Turbo Technology Concept.

The car will make its public debut at Volkswagen’s massive yearly meet at Worthersee later this week, where owners from around the world come to share their love for VW. The new Audi TT Clubsport Turbo Concept photos show the car in slate grey, sprinting around an airstrip.

Thanks to electric turbochargers strapped to a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, the car cranks out 600 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. Audi put together the concept to show off its electric turbochargers, saying that the technology is close to being ready for production vehicles.

To power the e-turbos, the car packs a dedicated 48-volt sub-system, rather than relying on exhaust pressure to spool the turbochargers like in most traditional turbocharged engines. This will help to eliminate turbo lag.

Besides under the hood technology, this stunning TT concept has a stance that is 5.5-inches wider than the standard car, an adjustable rear wing and coilover suspension, not to mention an unladen weight of 3,077 lbs.
