The C-X75, which will be driven by the film’s main villain, was first shown in concept form at the 2010 Paris motor show.
Jaguar then formed a partnership with the Williams F1 team, who replaced the micro gas turbines of the concept with a petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain producing 778bhp. However, Jaguar ultimately decided against putting the car on sale.
By contrast, the Range Rover Sport SVR and Defender Bigfoot are production models, developed by Jaguar Land Rover’s in-house Special Operations division.
The Range Rover Sport SVR uses a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine and can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 4.5sec, while the Defender Bigfoot has huge, 37-inch diameter off-road tyres and is designed to tackle extreme terrain.
Spectre is scheduled to be released in the UK on November 6.
