It’s the American dream to get a car for your 16th birthday. This doesn’t happen for most teenagers and, if it does, the car might not even be new. If you happen to be Lil’ Wayne’s daughter, though, then it’s a brand new Ferrari with a shiny red bow along with a BMW thrown in – just for kicks.
Lil’ Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, had a completely over the top party to celebrate her 16th birthday, which is pretty much what you’d expect for the daughter of a superstar rapper. There were tons of people and celebrities, but one of the highlights of the night was when she received a bright red BMW X4 and a Ferrari 599 GTO.
One more thing to consider – never mind the horsepower. Just think about the MSRPs for these gifts: easily in excess of $550,000. Sure beats a savings bond.
The BMW came from her dad, Lil’ Wayne, and will reportedly be her daily driver. But the Ferrari came from her Mom and her Stepdad with Lil’ Wayne’s approval. That’s right. Three adults think it was a stellar idea to give a newly licensed driver a car with 661 horsepower.
This car lapped Ferrari’s Fiorano test track faster than the Enzo. We’re sure Reginae is thrilled with both of her new rides. Lets just hope she has the sense to take it easy in that Ferrari because we’re slightly terrified at the thought of that car in the hands of an inexperienced teenage driver (but slightly jealous too).
