The Dacia Duster has been treated to some styling and trim upgrades as 2015 approaches.
Changes to the outside of the car aren’t dramatic but the Duster does get a more upmarket chrome front grille and roof bars branded with the Duster name. New black trim above the rear license plate also bears the name of the SUV, while top-of-the-range Laureate models benefit from 16-inch ‘Tyrol’ alloy wheels.
Buyers of the top-spec Laureate model also get body-coloured door handles and dark metal door mirror casings. Both mid-range Ambiance and Laureate models will now be available in five new metallic colours called Mercury, Khaki, Pearl Black, Slate Grey and Cinnamon in addition to Glacier White, which is the only choice for buyers of the entry-level Access version.
The entire range benefits from new upholstery. The Access Duster gets Hassium cloth, Ambiance models are finished with Osmium cloth and the seats in Laureate cars feature Rhodium cloth with Duster lettering.
The engine line-up is unchanged, so Access models continue to use a 105bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine, while Ambiance and Laureate versions use a 107bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Standard equipment on Access cars includes 16-inch steel wheels, remote locking, electric front windows, anti-lock brakes and safety systems including Emergency Brake Assist, electronic stability control, traction control and a tyre pressure monitor.
Extra kit on Ambiance-spec Dusters includes chrome door handles, gearlever and instrument surrounds, a radio/CD player, front fog lights and 60:40 split rear seats.
Range-topping Laureate cars get the new alloy wheels, air-conditioning, electric mirrors and rear windows, cruise control and upgraded finishes for parts like the door handles, steering wheel and roof bars.
