15 years of development have gone into our HDi direct injection engines, making them refined and frugal. In combination with a beautifully simple Stop & Start system and sophisticated ETG gearbox, the e-HDi 90 ETG6 can achieve 64.2mpg and CO2 emissions of only 115g/km. The ETG gearbox is an advanced transmission that lets you select either effortless full automatic shifts, or manual changes via the steering wheel mounted paddles. It’s part of what makes Citroën efficient engineering unique. Stop & Start puts the engine into idle mode as you decelerate and stops altogether as you come to a halt. The moment you take your foot off the brake, it restarts silently and without vibration. It helps to reduce CO2 by about 5g/km and fuel consumption by 15% in the city
