2015 Mercedes-Benz C400 4Matic

AGILITY SELECT
A new multimode drive program selector on the console lets you transform the car's character with the flip of a switch. Four modes (ECO, Comfort, Sport and Sport+) alter the throttle response, shift points and steering effort, plus the ECO Start/Stop and climate control efficiency. A fifth "Individual" mode allows you to create a mode of your own, even letting you set the transmission for purely manual shifting.

4-wheel multilink suspension
The 4-wheel independent suspension of the new C-Class Sedan features a redesigned 4-link front axle with lightweight aluminum components, and further evolution of the standard-setting 5-arm multilink rear design.

Sport-tuned suspension
Sport tuning of the springs and shock absorbers teams with the optimized kinematics of the C-Class to deliver more precise handling response. Yet even with its highly agile cornering, ride comfort remains silky, a benefit of the longer wheelbase and more rigid body structure.

AGILITY CONTROL
Engineered specifically for performance driving, AGILITY CONTROL automatically adjusts the individual shock absorbers based on the road surface and the driver's current driving style. Valving inside each shock absorber automatically firms up during stronger body motions for sharper handling feedback and stability, and reduces the damping rates during gentler motions for a smoother, more composed ride.

AIRMATIC suspension
The advanced AIRMATIC® suspension is now available on the C-Class Sedan. Precise sensors and pressurized air spring-struts quickly respond to road-surface and driving conditions. In sharp turns, the suspension firms up to boost control and cornering grip. On rough roads, AIRMATIC helps iron out bumps for a silkier ride. Speed-sensitive lowering enhances stability and efficiency. And a Sport mode can be engaged via the AGILITY SELECT control.
