2018 New Dacia Sandero and Dacia Logan to make debut in Paris Motor Show

The Dacia Sandero and Dacia Logan will be refreshed for its 2017 model year, and the changes will be revealed at the Paris motor show this month.

Dacia has updated its core range of models for the 2017 model year, and they will all be revealed at this year’s Paris Motor Show.

Four 2017 Dacia models have been restyled, and they all share the same technical platform. We are talking about the Dacia Logan, Logan MCV, Sandero, and the Sandero Stepway.

They have received 2017 Dacia’s family look, a strategy that is applied by most carmakers. The idea behind the “family identity” is to put the same design elements on all the models in one brand's lineup, so that customers and onlookers can easily identify the vehicles as being part of the same portfolio.

One of the strategies applied with tremendous success is using a similar front end for an entire lineup, as well as a “light signature.” The latter refers to the way the headlights are designed and the way they look when lit.

The facelift applied in the Dacia Sandero, Logan, Logan MCV, and Sandero Stepway ranges has brought LEDs as daytime running lights. These light emitting diodes will form four rectangles in the headlamps, and the resulting shape will be Dacia’s new lighting signature.

In time, if you spot a few of these cars on the street, you will know that a Dacia is coming just by looking at the headlamps.

Dacia has only published two images of the redesigned models, but none of them shows the interior or rear of the cars. However, we do know that the Romanian brand has redesigned the rear lights “in the same spirit.”
