
If you think that the new Fullback reminds you of the latter, it’s because the two cars are practically the same, with Fiat fitting their badges on a Mitsubishi L200. The new Fiat Fullback will be offered with a double-cab body and a payload of 1,045kg.

Power will come from a 2.4-litre aluminum diesel engine with either 150hp or 180hp with Fiat offering two transmission choices, a six speed manual and a five-speed automatic. As with its Japanese sibling, the new Fiat Fullback features a full-time four wheel drive system and will probably show the competition a trick or two, thanks to its lightweight construction.
