The New 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Revealed

All 2016 Sierras get a makeover on the front with a larger six-point grille featuring bespoke trimmings for each trim level and new LED “C-shaped” signature daytime running lights, headlights and fog lamps, plus redesigned bumpers on both ends, and new “C-shaped” LED taillights. 

GMC has also added support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity allowing customers to use select smartphone apps through the touchscreen interface of the IntelliLink system.

Like the 2016 Chevy Silverado, it's expected that GMC will expand the availability of GM's eight-speed automatic transmission across the range while also adding new safety technologies.
