Toyota unveils new special edition GT86

Toyota is adding a Blanco special edition to the GT86 range which brings some cosmetic revisions.

A facelift for the GT86 is in the works, but until next year the current model will have to solider on and now Toyota is trying to spice things up with a Blanco special edition finished in a GT White Pearl paint with contrasting red & grey sports decals. It rides on anthracite ten-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels which have been embossed with the GT86 moniker.

Stepping inside the cabin, the GT86 Blanco has full leather upholstery, heated front seats and an individually-numbered plaque on the center console, but Toyota doesn't say exactly how many cars they will make. At an additional cost, the RWD coupe can gain a 9-speaker JBL sound system as well as the company's Touch and Go infotainment system with a touchscreen display and satellite navigation.

Toyota will start taking orders on July 1, while deliveries are programmed to commence on August 1.
