VW Golf 1.0 TSI BlueMotion |
The three-cylinder 85-kilowatt engine isn’t completely new. It's already used in the VW Polo and VW Caddy. But in comparison to its predecessor, the 1.2 liter TSI, it's around 10 kilos lighter. Volkswagen says the vehicle uses only 4.3 liters per 100 kilometers. That yields CO2 emissions of 99 grams per kilometer.
At 2000 rpm, the TSI Golf Blue Motion has a maximum torque of 200 Newton meters and a top speed of 204 kilometers an hour. So there's more than enough power to make for a snappy driving experience.
