Opel CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann will enter his own Diplomat A V8 Coupé to the Bodensee Klassik event starting on May 7. The rare model is powered by a 5.4-liter V8 engine producing 230hp and is part of an exclusive series consisting of only 347 units produced by Karmann from 1964 onwards.
The vehicle identification number of Karl-Thomas Neumann’s 1967 coupé ends in 347, marking the fact that it’s the last of the exclusive vehicles ever produced. “I have always been fascinated by the combination of the timelessly elegant coupé body of the Diplomat and the legendary Chevrolet Small Block V8,” said Karl-Thomas Neumann.
