Nissan has announced pricing for its 2016 GT-R

2016 Nissan GT-R Price Announced
Nissan has announced pricing for its 2016 GT-R, now on sale at select Nissan dealers in the United States. Prices on the Premium, Black Edition, and NISMO trim levels remain the same as those on the outgoing models, however each trim does boast improvements.

The Premium and Black Edition models will each see a 5-horsepower bump in engine output, thanks to fine-tuning of the electronics behind the supercar’s 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine. The Premium trim level will also sport brand-new 20-spoke aluminum-alloy forged wheels, while the NISMO gets some enhanced aerodynamics, body reinforcement, and more precise handling.
2016 Nissan GT-R 45th Anniversary Gold Edition
A special 45th Anniversary Gold Edition will also be up for sale, but serious GT-R fans will need to act faster than the car’s 550-horsepower engine. Nissan promises that less than 30 of these models, which are based on the Premium model and include a gold paint scheme and a commemorative plaque, will be available in the United States.

The base price of the 2016 Nissan GT-R is $101,770 for the Premium model, with the NISMO starting at $149,990. GT-R customers will also have to pay a $1,595 destination and handling charge.
