It has the typical inoffensive exterior design of Japanese trucks adding new front and rear end designs to the previous model's swoopy profile, while inside, it has a passenger car-like dashboard with Mitsubishi claiming that it offers higher-quality materials and more space than before.
It comes fitted with seven SRS airbags while also offering active safety features such as Trailer Stability Assist (TSA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW).

Power for the European model is provided by a new 2.4-liter turbocharged MIVEC inline-four diesel, available in two states of tune, with 154PS (152hp) and 380Nm (280lb-ft), and 181PS (178hp) and 430Nm (317lb-ft) of torque respectively.
Two transmissions will be available, including a new 6-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic with Sport Mode and paddle shifting.
European sales are expected to start this summer.
