 2015 Renault Twizy is a two-seater all-electric city runabout hatchback expected to hit our auto markets very soon. Despite being very small in size, the 2015 Renault Twizy is surprisingly refined with the modern design and rational styling combinations. Though most of us will classify it as a two-seat mini-hatchback, it is extremely challenging to specify the exact car class in which it lies. As an all electric hatchback, we don’t expect any gasoline-initiated engine but a more powerful and efficient electric motor. Power for the car is obtained from a 6.1 kWh Li-ion which rests just beneath the frontage seat. You can charge the battery using the expandable coiled cable. 

No more worries about charging stations since the in-built charger is designed compatible with different types of roadside stations and a 220V domestic electrical charging unit. Charging the battery will take you 3 and half hours before it can be completely charged. However, though so reliable and effective, the new Renault Twizy can only be driven using the rear wheel drive.

Performance in the new Renault Twizy is exceptionally commendable. The power unit which is considered able to generate a horsepower of 17 horses and torque of 57 pounds–feet is effective enough to drive the car for 120 miles without needing more charging. 

Its highest speeding limit ranges between 45 kilometers per hour to 80 kilometers per hours. As for the lithium ion battery, it is able to drive the car for 60 miles which translates to 96 kilometers.
