Porsche GT3 RS. New images of flagship leaked

Porsche GT3 RS
Soon. Very soon. Eventually we won’t have any more wait for the new Porsche GT3 RS, because it seems like the darn thing is right around the corner. How do we know? Well, because here are the first pictures of it without any form of camouflage whatsoever.
Porsche GT3 RS
While not factory sanctioned, these first few pictures come to us through an Instagram account labeled Johan9ff, and definitely picture the brand new Porsche 911 GT3 RS. AKA, Porsche’s ultimate track toy. Forget the 918, forget the GT2, and forget any Cayman or Boxster. None of them have the same racing pedigree and level of track readiness as this burley beast.

Up until now, information on the car is has been fairly scarce, but rumors have the new GT3 RS pumping out at least 500 horsepower. What is still very much up for debate, though, is whether or not it will be a PDK only like the regular GT3, or if it will come with the much hallowed manual transmission.

Our money is on the PDK only, but we’d be more than happy to be wrong. What’s also interesting is the appearance of rear engine intakes that usually only appear on the 911 Turbo. In the past, the GT3 RS has always been naturally aspirated, but could these intakes mean Porsche went with a turbo option?

Hopefully Stuttgart will finally fully reveal it’s track monster in full. Until then, all we have are these pictures and our guesses.
