2015 Suzuki Jimny: Simply Impressive

Whoever said that cars need to be replaced every 4 to 6 years obviously wasn't referring to classic off-roaders like the Suzuki Jimny that's now in its 16th year of production.

Suzuki is perfectly fine with the Jimny that has just received another model year update that brings it line with some EU requirements while also adding new exterior and interior features.

To comply with EU regulations, all 2015 models get a revised instrument cluster with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a Gear Shift Indicator (GSI) to help the driver improve fuel economy, and come equipped with ESC (Electronic Stability Control) as standard.

The Japanese carmaker added two new metallic shades for the SZ4 trim named Steel Silver and Khaki Green, new seat fabrics for the SZ3 and a new 15-inch alloy wheel design to the SZ4.

Nothing changes under the hood with the Jimny sporting a 1.3-litre engine that returns a combined cycle fuel economy of 39.8mpg for the manual model and 38.7mpg for the automatic with respective CO2 outputs of 162 and 167g/km.
