Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition. Limited Edition SUV

The 'Master of Winter' digital project, starring the new Jeep® Wrangler Polar special edition model, will be online in Italy starting January 27th. In addition to presenting the adventurous soul and legendary off-road capability of the new limited-edition model, an interactive video will draw users into an exclusive 'digital' experience through which they will both witness the enthralling challenge on the ice between the new Wrangler Polar and a professional snowboarder, and interact with the two protagonists. With jumps and acrobatics on the snow, on and off-piste, the two contenders will put their abilities to the test in order to gain the title of 'Master of Winter'.

Master of Winter is the new digital communications project developed by the Jeep brand in order to highlight the extraordinary performance of the new Wrangler Polar special edition model, and its ability to overcome any obstacle, also when driving on the snow and in extreme weather conditions. After its launch in Italy, the project will début on the web and the social channels of the major European markets.
The digital 'Master of Winter' project by Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide is a worthy addition to the web communication campaign dedicated to the new Polar special edition model that was developed by the Xister and Testa Digital Hub agencies, and is already available on the main entertainment and news portals in Italy. Managed through YouTube's 'external annotation' system on the Jeep Italia channel, the video -that is also available on the web page dedicated to the campaign - uses a system that links the various clips together in order to produce a series of 'gags' that are animated according to the items that the user chooses to click within the video itself, as for example the protagonists or the objects that surround them.

After discovering what happens when they click on these objects, the users can click on the 'trophy' to enter the most engaging section of the video: the head-to-head challenge between the Polar model and the snowboarder. The second part of the video, set in a mountain landscape in several, different weather conditions, will focus on the driving performance of the new Wrangler Polar, juxtaposing it with the sports performance of the snowboarder.
On ice and fresh snow, we will see the new Wrangler Polar jump, flip and give free rein to its 'Fun driving machine' nature. In parallel, the snowboarder will show off his sports performance at breathtaking speed, on and off-piste, with jumps, acrobatics and tricks both on the ground and in the air.

Lastly, at the end of the video, the users will be able to access the Polar product page, receive further information on the vehicle and book a test drive. The backstage video and photo gallery will be available on the jeep-people.com portal, on jeep-official.it and all Jeep social channels.
Latest limited-edition customisation designed around the iconic Wrangler dedicated to the lovers of wintertime 4x4 driving, the new Jeep Wrangler Polar is available in Italy in both two- and four-door configurations, powered by the brilliant 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine. This engine is matched to a five-speed automatic gearbox and delivers 200 horsepower at 3,600 rpm and 460 Nm of torque at 1,600 - 2,600 rpm.

Based on the Sahara model, the exterior of the new Wrangler Polar boasts unique features such as the new front grille with Gloss Black accents on the lamp throats, new hard spare-tyre cover, Powerdome hood and body-colour hardtop with deep-tint sunscreen glass. A Gloss Black Jeep logo above the front grille and Gloss Black 18" alloy wheels enhance the distinctive look of the vehicle. Completing the exterior appointment of the new Jeep Wrangler Polar special-edition model is the unique, three-colour hood decal, featuring the outline of mountains, and the black fuel-filler door from Mopar®.
To confirm its vocation as 'authentic explorer', a "Polar" badge is found on the vehicle's side next to the front fender flares and exhibits the 78° S and 106° E coordinates that correspond to the location of Vostok in Antarctica: the exact point where the absolute severest temperature in the world was recorded at -89.2° C.
The interior features Black leather seats enhanced by Pearl White accent stitching and "Polar" logo embroidered on the upper portion of the backrests. Standard equipment also includes a black leather-wrapped steering wheel with Pearl White stitching and high-gloss Ceramic White painted bezels. The passenger-side dashboard grab bar and dashboard vent rings are also finished in high-gloss Ceramic White to create a contrasting effect.
The exclusive cabin of the Jeep Wrangler Polar special edition also features an all-new cluster overlay with rings painted high-gloss Ceramic White and surrounding a blue instrument background with "Polar" logo.

Legendary Wrangler capability is achieved through the standard Command-Trac NV241 part-time, two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio. In order to handle any off-road track in utmost safety, the new Wrangler Polar model comes standard with the Trac-Lok® anti-spin rear differential.
