The four-cylinder petrol engines sDrive20i and sDrive28i with innovative BMW TwinPower Turbo technology have been designed and built to maximise dynamics and efficiency. While the fully-variable valve control Valvetronic and the direct petrol injection lower consumption, the TwinScroll turbocharger and the double-Vanos increase performance and response. The figures speak for themselves: the BMW Z4 sDrive28i is capable of a powerful 180 kW (245 hp) and accelerates the BMW Z4 with 350 Nm from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.5 seconds – achieving 41.5 mpg and CO2 emissions of 159 g/km. The BMW TwinPower turbo sDrive20i delivers an equally impressive performance. The 135 kW (184 hp) drive train achieves 41.5 mpg and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 6.9 seconds. CO2 emissions are only 159 g/km. The BMW sDrive18i is just as economical.
