The combination of double overhead camshafts (DOHC), Variable Value Timing (VVT), a variable displacement oil pump and high-flow intake and exhaust ports on this high-tech masterpiece translates into an exceptionally flat torque curve. In fact, 90 percent of the peak torque is available from 1,600 to 6,400 rpm which results in a smooth, responsive driving experience.
