Ford Fiesta Red-Black Editions 1.0L EcoBoost 140PS

New 1.0L EcoBoost Ford Engine produces 140PSFord Motor Company has announced The New Red and Black Editions of the Fiesta model which come with a more powerful version of the 1.0L EcoBoost engine.

Ford’s innovative 3-cylinder EcoBoost 1.0L engine has got a new member with in the form of a 140 PS (103 kW) power, following the 100 PS (74 kW) and 125 PS (92 kW) engines. Ford engineers says it gives more power-per-liter than a Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari 458 Speciale and grants the Fiesta with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 9 seconds before topping out at 125 mph (201 km/h).

With this new engine, the Fiesta gets 52.3 mpg US (62.8 mpg UK or 4.5 liters / 100 km) with the same CO2 emissions of 104 g/km. This new fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost Editions also feature a rigid and sport suspension setup and new gear ratios for the five-speed manual gearbox and a tweaked electronic power assisted steering system.

Now available on order, the New Fiesta Editions will reach dealerships in September.
