The race against weight

The total weight of the car has been considerably reduced (its dry weight only 895 kilograms) by using superlight materials and devoting painstaking care to the smallest of details.

The new Alfa D.N.A. selector has three settings (Dynamic, Natural and All Weather) for adapting the car to the road conditions and the current driving style. What is more, Race mode is designed to further enhance the driving experience on the racing track. Holding the selector pressed in Dynamic position will cut out the stability control system and the ABS handing full control of the car over to the driver. Furthermore, the full digital instrument panel with TFT display changes configuration to provide the information most pertinent to the specific Alfa D.N.A. setting.

The engine: hi-tech power

The 1750 cc Turbo Petrol version is based on state-of-the-art engine technology on an internal combustion engine. And Alfa Romeo's engineers have made this technology even more aggressive and efficient. 4 cylinders, an aluminium block and structure, a new generation turbocharger, ultra-high pressure direct fuel injection, two continuously variable valve timing units, scavenging technology and a dual clutch enable this 1750 cc unit to deliver unprecedented sporting performance. Torque and specific power set new records for this size of engine. Maximum power of 240 HP is reached at 6,000 rpm, confirming the unit's extraordinary elasticity and dynamism. It produces exceptional results both during pick-up and when accelerating. The Alfa Romeo 4C reaches 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and develops a top speed of 258 km/h.
