New 2014 Audi SQ5 SUV

The first S model SUV in the history of Audi
Audi's S models signify a steppingstone to its more powerful RS lineup -- the SQ5, however, is the Q5 SUV in its most sporting form. Featuring a 354-hp supercharged V-6 and a price tag of $51,900, the SQ5 bests the BMW X3 xDrive 35i in power, but loses ground in price.
The new Audi SQ5 is the first ever Audi SUV to carry the S badge. Producing 354 hp and 347lb-ft of torque, the new top-of-the-line model which was designed specifically for markets such as Canada, uses the award winning 3.0 TFSI engine with forced induction. It sprints from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 250 km/h.
An 8-speed tiptronic and quattro permanent all-wheel drive with self-locking centre differential transfer the power of the Audi SQ5 firmly to the road. The fast-shifting automatic transmission offers two modes, and the driver can also switch gears manually via the standard shift paddles on the steering wheel.
The SQ5 comes with standard 20-inch wheels fitted with 255/45-series tires; 21-inch wheels are available. The brake calipers on the front axle sport the SQ5 badge as well. The SQ5’s electromechanical steering plays a major role in the efficiency of the Audi SQ5 and also provides very precise road feel.
The platinum gray radiator grille with its horizontal double bars in aluminum look, the distinctive bumpers and the roof spoiler are particularly eye-catching. V6 T badges adorn the front fenders. The gloss package and exterior mirrors in aluminum look accentuate the windows. In addition, there are two exclusive crystal-effect finishes: Estoril Blue and Panther Black.  Sportiness carries over to the interior. The instruments feature gray dials and white numerals; the pedals and shift paddles have a shiny aluminum-look finish.  The interior is bathed in black. The standard power-adjustable sport seats are covered with fine Nappa leather, with four different colours of leather optional. The standard inlays are brushed aluminum. Options include Carbon Atlas or layered aluminum and wood in Beaufort black.
The SQ5 comes standard with a host of features including rear parking sensors, three-zone climate control, power rear tailgate, Audi Music Interface and Sirius satellite radio to name just a few. However there are also a number of standalone options that can be added to individualize the SQ5 to each customers’ tastes. These include Bang and Olufsen® sound, unique inlays, upgraded wheels, rear seat entertainment as well as a Navigation Package.
